Accessories for concrete solar panel supports

At Hormicad, we manufacture not only concrete supports but also a complete line of accessories designed to facilitate installation, increase safety, and improve the performance of every photovoltaic system.

Our accessories respond directly to the needs of installers and are designed to adapt perfectly to our prefabricated supports, both on roofs and on the ground. From leveling elements to grounding systems, here you will find everything necessary for a professional, safe, and fast installation.

Hardware Extension System

Safer installation adapted to large-format modules.

Developed as a response to a real installer need, this system allows solar panels to be fixed at the points indicated by the manufacturer, preventing sagging or micro-cracks. It consists of a plate that anchors to the groove of the concrete support and a perforated guide that allows for adjusting the position of the fixings. This ensures compliance with the module’s technical data sheet and protects the manufacturer’s warranty.

Anti-Sagging System

Structural reinforcement for large-format modules.

An alternative to the hardware extension system that allows up to six fixing points per module. It includes an aluminum profile anchored to an additional ballast (up to 55 kg), which connects to the panel frame using hardware designed not to damage the aluminum. This system adds weight, rigidity, and improves safety against wind.

Leveling system

Solution for irregular roofs or uneven terrain.

Ideal for sloped terraces or ground-mounted solar farms. It includes a plate with a leveling screw that allows for adjusting the height of each support, both at the front and back. Thus, all panels remain perfectly aligned, improving the aesthetics and final finish of the installation.

Grounding plate

Equipotential connection without bridges, errors, or complications.

Many installers believe that aluminum hardware creates ground continuity, but anodizing insulates the metallic contact. Our stainless steel plate, pre-assembled on the intermediate hardware, bites into the module frame when tightened, guaranteeing equipotential continuity without the need for bridging or drilling.

Rubber mat

Protection of waterproofing and increased system adherence.

Prevents direct contact between the support and the roof (especially on bituminous membranes) and improves adherence on smooth surfaces such as sandwich panels. It prevents leaks and displacements.

Polyurethane adhesive

Secure fixing between supports and ballasts without the need for anchors.

Allows for joining the 60 kg support with the additional ballast without exceeding the weight permitted by the CTE for on-site handling. It is applied in a wavy bead of 1 to 1.5 cm to ensure a firm bond. Fast, safe, and compatible with demanding conditions.

Cable tray support

Elevation of cabling and protection of the installation.

Allows for keeping cable trays elevated above the ground, avoiding direct contact with moisture, water, or dirt. It improves system durability, guarantees a stable base, and facilitates maintenance, reducing displacements and possible damage to the electrical installation.

Why trust Hormicad accessories?

  • Total compatibility with our range of prefabricated supports

  • Ease of use on-site, pre-assembled and ready to install

  • Compliance with CTE and electrical regulations

  • Savings in time, materials, and costs for the installer

Frequently asked questions

It depends on the roof. On smooth surfaces or those with waterproofing, the use of adhesive and a mat is strongly recommended to prevent displacement or leaks.

The grounding plate pre-assembled on the intermediate hardware allows for regulatory compliance without manually bridging modules or voiding the manufacturer’s warranty.

It is not mandatory, but it is recommended when panels are installed on irregular roofs. It improves aesthetics and facilitates perfect alignment of the array.
