This time we share a new installation in Finestrat (Alicante), where we have used our 15º concrete support in horizontal configuration, combined with 50 cm ballasts, a solution especially suitable for flat roofs with gravel finish.
The installation was carried out in a house located in an elevated area, with direct exposure to wind, so structural stability was a key factor in the design of the system.

Ballasted system without perforations
The use of ballasted concrete supports makes it possible to install solar panels without the need to perforate the waterproofing of the roof. This avoids the risk of leaks and simplifies the installation process.
The 50 cm ballasts provide the necessary weight to guarantee the stability of the assembly, adapting to this type of residential project where the balance between safety and efficiency was a priority.
Optimized inclination at 15º.
The 15-degree tilt provides a balanced energy yield, allowing for proper solar gain throughout the year, especially in the province of Alicante.
The horizontal configuration also facilitates an efficient distribution of the panels on the roof, optimizing the available space.
Structural reinforcement and stability
This installation also shows the incorporation of lateral reinforcement by means of an anti-buckling system, which provides greater rigidity against horizontal stresses and improves the behavior of the assembly under wind loads.
This type of solution is especially recommended for roofs located in open areas or at a certain altitude, as is the case in Finestrat.
Professional solution for photovoltaic installers
Hormicad concrete supports are designed to facilitate the work of the professional installer, reducing assembly times and offering a resistant, durable and safe structure.
If you are looking for concrete supports for solar panels in Finestrat or in the province of Alicante, our 15º horizontal system with ballast is a reliable solution for flat roofs.
